Emily has been very busy raising 3 young children and making sure we are all where we need to be. She has been involved in a women's bible study at church and is making some great friendships through it. She is also taking a mission trip with 13 other AIA staff to Louisiana right after Thanks Giving for 8 days to help in some post Katrina relief. Please pray for this trip that she would be used to make an impact for the Lord. |

It has been a rough year for me personally but I have so much to be thankful for! It was really hard for Bryan and I to see our little baby in the hospital last year struggling so much. God was faithful to heal Levi and show us what the problem was so quickly. But, just as that hurdle was being crossed, my grandmother died in September and I went to Texas to be with her right before her death and had to make arrangements for her graveside service. It was a very sad time for me because we were close and I love her dearly. Then, about a week after arriving home from Texas, we found rabid bats in our house. Upon learning about that, we left our home to stay with friends and started the rabies vaccine because of the reccommendation of the county nurse. We decided to leave our rental home permanently and bought a house in Xenia. I am so thankful to the Lord for blessing us with our home and have been using this time to work on personal issues and ministering to our children and family. I have met some really wonderful people here in Ohio and feel very content with where we are right now. |

It has been eight months since we arrived in Xenia, Ohio and what a feeling of peace being in God's will! There have been challenges already with learning how to deal with snow and just doing the little things like grocery shopping with a 2-year old and a 1-year old. But, overall my experience here has been a very positive one and I feel so blessed by the Lord. I am able to go to headquarters on Wednesday morning and meet with my trainer at Athletes in Action to go over some of the curriculum that Bryan is going over as well. And I really enjoy the monthly prayer meetings we have at Athletes in Action on Fridays. I am starting to build some really great friendships here with my sisters in Christ and praying that God can use me to reach my friends that do not know Christ yet. God is teaching me to take things a day at a time and sometimes a moment at a time and to trust in Him for everything! |

Emily is doing great. On February 28th she went under the knife so that our 3rd baby could come into this world. This is her third c-section and it seems that her recovery is better with each one. She is getting more strength each day and is finally getting the sleep she so desperately needs. I thank God every day for her and know that God put us together for a special reason (3 special reasons). |
